I’m actually not sure if snakes are susceptible to toxoplasmosis, but I assume they are, so you did the right thing with the antiseptic.
A vet appointment is definitely required, so it’s good that you scheduled one. They’ll be able to provide better feedback than us, considering we can’t physically inspect the snake.
