my 2500g female lesser has, from what I can feel, 4 follicles each the size of a large marble. Last year she laid 6 eggs, one being a twin egg. I wouldn’t consider myself an expert palpater (palpateer? palpatier? 😅but this also isn’t my first rodeo. That being said, I’m curious to know how actual clutch size has differed from number of follicles you’ve counted. I’m hoping I am just missing follicles and she isn’t having a smaller clutch this year.
