I only have one scrub, I don’t keep retics, but I do have a few carpets. I think carpets and scrubs both make good display animals and are reliable feeders but the similarities end there for me. They move a lot differently. Scrubs are really fast and have a very long strike range. I’ve see some pretty mellow scrubs but mine is much more defensive than my carpets ever were. I’ve had him for a little over two years now and he’s gotten much better but definitely not as trustworthy as my carpets. I’ve accepted the fact that he prefers to be left alone so I don’t bother him too much. My carpets I can take out on any given day.Originally Posted by nikkubus
