I have seen my KSB standing on his tail to reach the top of his tank. He tried and tried to wedge himself between the glass ledge and the tank lid for about 15 minutes before he lost his balance and plopped back down to the ground. I was really glad I had some decent lid clips. I used to think I could leave the tank open for a couple of minutes while I went in the other room, but I don't any more. I just hope I've gone through my quota of escaped reptiles (multiple anoles when I was a kid) and Spotticus stays firmly and safely where he belongs. It's so stressful when your baby gets out. I hope yours comes out of hiding soon.
