    Yeah, I've gone thru all the disinfection for -I think?- 2 used tanks ever, before deciding it's just not worth all the work & "paranoia"- it makes the new ones seem really cheap, unless maybe it's a huge one that's very hard to come by. Tanks have plenty of crevices where pathogens can hide.
