How big is your snake? If it's small enough, a baby, it can squeeze through the space between where the sliding doors meet. I didn't think it was possible when they told me that, but sure enough I came home from work at 4am one time, and my girl was half way out. If I didn't catch her in the act, I would never have thought they can squeeze through such a small space.
