Thanks as always! This is one of Zilla's enclosures, so the top basically has a brace that runs from front to back and the two areas of screen are removable and framed in plastic. The brace in the middle conveniently has a channel that I think will work perfect to hold the top of the partition if that makes sense. I'm probably explaining that terribly but I hope it helps picture it a little. I didn't think about the scratching on the plexi so I will probably go with glass, and I have a place that cuts glass right down the road so I shouldn't be too hard, the weird part will be getting the measurements and then of course fitting everything in, as like you said, we're not sliding right down into the tank. It'll probably be a swear filled Saturday lol but I think I can make it work.

Thanks for the tip on the molding too, I like the idea of being able to take it out if needed, so I'll look into that as well.
