    Zebes is a pretty fellow, & yes, some snakes do seem to "take aim" with some degree of consistency. Some also like to use their water bowl as if it might actually flush? But the idea of a housebroken snake, no, sorry...because in the wild, they just go & move on. They don't have instincts about being tidy, unfortunately. Time will tell as to whether or not Zebes continues this, but mostly I would assume it's because some snakes are shyer, so they like to go where they feel safest, ie. in their hide.
