Point a fan at the enclosures. Happens every time I use fresh coconut husk or cypress without exception. In the future you can dump the substrate into a tub and toss it a couple times a day until it dries to a useable moisture content for your enclosures.

Same setup here w/ the AP and RHP from Pro Products. I use Repti Chip coconut husk bedding but I'm having humidity issues w/ the cold weather. I have to spray every day or every other day because the humidity will drop in the low 40s.

What I’ve done in the past is take a pump sprayer and soak the entire substrate and then mix and redistribute across the cage floor. Seems to hold the moisture a bit better than a surface spray.

Yea, I have a pump sprayer and need to to a better job of the 'mixing' part rather then just saturating the top part.

We normally do have it in a spare tub to dry out. It was too wet I think when I put it in. How long will it take for the humidity to drop about. Just worrying that the humidity will be too high for too long. I've also been wiping the enclosure down every day to get the moisture off the walls. Also been moving the coco husk around to rotate it under the heat panel to help it dry.
