Re: Dimming vs pulse proportional thermostat

I've had my herpstats running my RHPs on dimming mode for ~5yrs without issue. I believe they mention somewhere in the owner's manual that the pulse proportional setting helps to minimize an audible hum created when using heat tape in certain rack systems or something? I don't know but dimming proportional setting has caused no issues over several years with any of my panels.
