I was just writing about Feliz and how strong and grippy he is, more like a true red tail (so I am told) than my BI's. He is a "true" red tail, but a dwarf, so at least I don't have to worry about him getting huge.

How's Leonard in terms of grip? Even at under 800G with Feliz I have to watch the fingers . Behira at 3X that size is a gentle giant and much easier on the hands and wrists.
Leonard is the grippiest snake I’ve ever had, maybe rivaled by Sally Jo my rockhampton coastal carpet at times but she’s loosened her grip a bit. Almost seems as though he’s gotten grabbier with age and size too. Aside from that he’s incredibly easy going. By contrast, Mirabelle is hardly grabby at all and is more than content to lie motionless on my lap for extended periods. Leonard is a bit more of a busy body but not nearly as much as the carpet gang here.
