Mite questions

He just ate yesterday.

1. When is it safe to do a dawn bath?
I ordered pam and reptile spray. I couldn't find either at any pet stores.

2. Can the mites affect my tortoise or tarantulas? His tank was on top of the vision cages that I keep them in.

3. Can and will mites travel out of a tank and walk around the room to find another host?

1. I’d maybe wait until tomorrow.
2. Yes to the tortoise. Don’t think they’ll affect your tarantula but the mite treatments sure will. It’s an insecticide and could be fatal to your tarantula.
3. Yes.

You’ll need to treat every animal and enclosure in the room and move your tarantula elsewhere until the problem is solved.
