Re: Eastern Indigo - Drogon
Incredibly cool animals. They look great and scary too, but they seem chill. Nice combo.
I am glad you updated.

Can anybody point me in the right direction for knowledge on Axanthic Cribos & Eastern Indigos? How are their temperaments? I heard these snakes eat other snakes, if breeding do you have to worry about them trying to eat each other?

I have no experience with them, but I do with king snakes, & they have a similar propensity; anyway, I wouldn't let down your guard when breeding them, just as with kings. One way you can gauge their interest & get them used to the other's scent safely before a meet-up is to put each one in the other's cage without the occupant being "at home"- just for a while, so they get each other's scent...it can help them get "in the mood" to breed for when they finally meet "in person".

Yes it may always be a concern and why we never bred the ones here as the male was quite a bit larger and we were worried it may not go well if we tried to breed them (sadly his female recently passed away so now we won't get to try).
