Well this is a 1st (after 3 years)........
After checking on him every 30 minutes to see if he had retreated to his hide, I finally gave and offered while he was pressed against the front glass. I heated the rat up and he darted outside the enclosure and attacked to the point where I had to lift him up and put him back in his enclosure. This is now 5 rats in a row........ Either PerfectPrey has some really tasty rats or I'm just witnessing a lucky streak!!!
So not only has he not struck in several years (usually a drop feeder) or eaten outside his hide, but he's struck now 5 times in a row!! This is a totally different snake!! I guess he heard me when I was talking about getting rid of him
