Don't worry about it. They can handle coco husk no problem.
Think of it like this... nobody puts a plate down for snakes in the wild and they've survived thousands of years.
Coco husk is fine enough that there aren't any pieces large enough to harm your snake. I mean, you obviously don't want a lot ingested, but a little will just be pooped out.
