Thermostat help

Today I got my thermostat, the ITC-306T. I set it all up but when I plug my heat lamp into the thermostat’s outlet, the heat lamp doesn’t turn on, I can’t find anything online or in the manual about this. Please help, thank you!!

Where is the probe located, what temp does it read and what temp do you have the thermostat to kick on at?

Inside the tank, 79, and im not sure how to check this but I have it to keep the tank at 80. Nevermind I think I just answered the question lol.

Those non-proportional thermostats won't kick in if there's a one degree difference. set it to kick on for 82 or 83 and if your terrarium is at 79, it should kick in.
