    I use Ultratherm UTHs on a few of my AP enclosures and they work great. The ultratherms don't get as hot as other UTHs, I think they top out ot 110F, so you'll still need a thermostat to regulate the temps, but you can create a good hot spot with them. I set my thermostats at 92-94 and it gives me a hot spot of 88-90 on the inside floor of the enclosure. I have UTHs for my boas and bulls but I have RHPs for my pythons. They both create good hot spots but the RHPs will boost the ambient temps as well.
