Help Eggs came and I think I ruined them

Hello All so my Banana female laid 5 eggs on friday. Had her in a tank with a male Spider enchi vanilla yellow belly.
Didn't know she was gravid!!! so was on my way out the door she was laying I got back today eggs look all dried out. So i just put them in a tote on top of the white plastic lighting grate on top of moist perlite and a wet towel on top. I do not have an incubator all i have is a heat pad i got a thermostat coming from amazon will be here tomorrow evening. so is there anything else i can do??

You housed a male and female together, the female was going to become gravid and lay eggs sooner or later. Put them in different tanks. They don’t really like to be around each other. I would have let the female try to hatch them personally. Maternal incubation can work. It’s too late now and all you can do is try with what you have. The egg box must be moist without being wet. What temperature does your heat mat produce? If it’s too hot they will die. It should not get over 90, and sudden temperature swings will cause deformities. If the eggs have been around too much they may die. Once the embryo has attached itself to the egg it must stay in the same position until it hatches. What I would do is try to find a foam cooler at a gas station or grocery store. Put the heat mat in the cooler controlled by the thermostat. Create some sort of space between the heat mat and the egg box. You don’t want the egg box directly on the heat mat. Put the lid on the cooler. Leave it alone for two months. If all goes right they may hatch out fine.

Well if you did not have an incubator you should have left the eggs with the female and provide a proper environment to do the job until you received an incubator, at this point all you can do is wait and see, candle the eggs rehydrate them laying a damp paper towel over them if they are still dried up of course picture of the eggs would help.

Do you even know the temperature in the egg box?
