There were only two there comments prior to you saying everyone is being negative. I simply suggested a species and one person share very valid thoughts and concerns. Hardly negative... If at all.

I personally can't stand the revolving door of animals. I just don't think it's fair to the animals, they're living creatures, not trading cards. My Borneo STP is a HUGE PAIN in my butt. But I took him on, and he'll stay here for that reason. I took him on, FOR LIFE.

And it may be best to wait and see how your life changes after your baby is brought into the world. Maybe what seems like a "safe bet" now may not be a year from now. Then do you just re-home the animals again?

Just food for thought.

And if you do decide you "need" to buy snakes now rather than waiting, I still suggest looking into IJ/Papuan carpets.
