How to run heat tape parallel?

Hi guys I've been looking for a good video that shows a step by step how to process for how to run heat tape in parallel on a rack. I cant seem to find a good video that includes how to do this as well as the materials used. Can anyone help?

My Animal Plastics rack has it woven through the rack. It simply goes across one shelf and then in a slit between the side and the shelf. It goes along the wall and then across the next shelf. On the other side it again goes in a slit and to the next shelf. Kinda a zig zag pattern going from shelf to shelf and along the walls. The AP has a groove the take fits in to sit more flush. I would check theirs out for ideas.

I liked it being this way because you have one power source, one TStat, and one probe for the entire rack. I have enough going on in my snake room and didn't need more plugs and TStats.

Unfortunately I can't weave it through because my rack goes the long way.
