Thank you both. I knew she could double clutch but this is going so random. She seams healthy and the vet said she was ok. She is just over 6 feet and very healthy. For a corn I think that is rather long and she eats really well. I do limit her in prey size but right now letting her eat weekly to help her stay healthy. I have a market for all the babies if they hatch out so not worried there. She is a rather amazing animal to work with. Love her.

It's not unusual for the second clutch to be a lot smaller or infertile, depends on the female and the male whether or not he was re-introduced at the right time (if re-introduced) or whether or not the retain sperm was good enough to do the job.

Also not unusual for an older female is to triple clutch.

Corn snakes can be quite prolific. I've not seen 3rd clutches but certainly have seen automatic 2nd clutches, not to mention continued fertile egg production for up
to FIVE full years after mating only ONE year...there is no "off switch". Careful what you wish for.
