    Just sounds like he's enjoying the warmer pool water. And going into shed, I'd encourage him to keep soaking by keeping the water a bit warmer, especially since
    you said he did have mites a while back...he may still be slightly dehydrated from them. Soaking should be up to your snake to decide.
