I ship animals in shed all the time, shipping is hard enough to schedule between weather and people's availability that if I had to schedule around shed it could be really complicated.
Every animals turn out fine, if they are deep in blue I place a piece of paper towel lightly misted in the snake bag (slightly not damped and or dripping)
