A boa is almost always ready to eat, and most are wonderful to handle.

Heavy, thick and long, yet lean.

They are the perfect "impressive" snake IMO.

Don't even get me started when it comes to the lateral compression of their bodies. That loaf shape is by far the most unique part of a healthy boa constrictor I love it.
Yeah, I am totally a Boa "Convert." Never thought I'd keep a boa because of their ultimately "large" size as adults. However, one male BI, one Male dwarf BC, and one female BI later, and it won't be that bad . Behira, the female BI will be pretty big, the others, not too bad.

Love their personalities, but they are all different. Feliz (BC) is a total "runner." He's active when out, climbing, exploring, etc. Jeff is inquisitive, but so far, likes to just chilling on me. Behira is in between.

I had to realize how gentle these giants are first hand and now three later, well, I am hooked. I am also full up, but happy with the boas I have.

I did have to get a little used to the feeding response, but that's been adjusted to at this point.
