Without a photo, I'm guessing that what you're seeing is the normal creased-scales that happens when BPs curl up...some scales just get bent in the process. It's likely
to be more visible on something light colored like a BEL, & may or may not resolve with a shed...most snakes continue to curl up & it's asking a lot for them to sleep in a
straight line just because you don't like their bad case of "bed-head". (and this is roughly the equivalent of the creases in our elbow skin)
