Thanks everyone for your comments. I'm relieved to hear that this is something normal. I was little taken back when he didn't flinch when I flashed some hand gestures to him while he was in this position. He's a rather secretive BP so I would of expected an immediate flop at the sign of me

He might have even fallen asleep like that...snakes do some pretty silly things sometimes, that's part of why I love them. And I'm not a "sir", btw.
