    Worst product

I picked up this basking platform/elevated outcrop by Exo Terra for my scrub the other day. I am completely dumbfounded by it’s horrible design. Installed it last night. I happened to walk by around 9am to find that it had fallen on top of his favorite egg-shaped hide (and not him, thankfully). He had poked his head out because I’m sure it scared the crap out of him.

I immediately retrieved it because, I don’t know, the mounting clip is secured by adhesive backing. In a reptile cage. I’ve used elevated hides and vines before and they are always secured by magnets. How does a company that makes items specifically for reptiles (and amphibians) make a product that is meant to be inside the cage fastened with adhesive? And terrible adhesive, at that. So, just beware. This product sucks

And, on another note, my monster finally hulked out and broke his favorite hide! Guess that means he’s growing!

Wow, that's awful...just glad no one got hurt. I'd definitely give Exo Terra a "piece of my mind" & demand my money back.
