The most important thing with giving antibiotics without a vet visit is not just the meds being strong and possibly harmful/unnecessary for your snake, but the dosage would be WAY off since you would be buying it for livestock. I know it's tough, but skirting a vet visit and proper diagnosis could be deadly to your baby. Just food for thought. Is he yawning a lot?
