    Alcohol is highly volatile and the fumes really bother snakes. If you disinfected all of your enclosures in a ventilated area away from your reptiles and then let them air dry before returning them into use-then sure-you could safely use hand sanitizer (assuming it has no extra skin care/scent additives). Too much time/effort for too little savings IMO.
