Your words (like "delusional", "unhealthy" & suggesting that the OP talks "with someone about it", as well as "extreme anthropomorphism") are insulting & designed to hurt the OP & make you somehow feel superior & right ("someone who works in medicine"...well ...). SO WHAT if someone is anthropomorphic? Last time I checked, it's not a crime, is it? Nor is it in any way abnormal for any human to have a connection with a pet, such that IF "in the unfortunate case that something happens to [it]..." that person would be very upset...any more than the way we suffer losses of human pals too. Just because you don't like someone's perspective is no reason to keep trolling this member. I find it sad for this once-friendly forum, & more a reflection on you than on her.
