    That's probably the biggest complaint I see as far as banana/Coral glow... Aside from the occasional person who hates the freckles. I absolutely love the banana gene! It's my favorite single gene and it's what sparked my love.

    From what I've seen, it's hit or miss. There are bunches out there that really mellow yellow out as adults, and I've seen plenty that hold their colors very well into maturity. Personally, my boy Dipper (single gene banana) has held up fairly well. He still has some pinks and oranges, a nice overall rich yellow with the nice mellow lavender... Not to mention a fair amount of freckles without the cookies and cream look.
