she's not...and also for your explanations & patience.
As I always say, there are exceptions to every rule. The exception here being I actually DO have to fight with her for Cosmo! Hahahahahah! She actually adores that little hognose. Within the last few weeks she even started taking him out of his enclosure. First, with my assistance. Then with my supervision. And just last night she asked if he could come out. I said "sure, I'll be up in a minute" and when I got upstairs a few minutes later she already had him out!

She's grown fond of most of the others too, but nowhere near the way she loves Cosmo.

I've always been appreciative that she allowed "one snake" years ago. And I've always shown her respect by giving her an "education" of each species before bringing them home. I'm straightforward and honest about potential size, temperament, rear-fanged, strike range etc... I've always let her do things at her pace too. I've never once "forced" or "peer pressured" her into touching, handling, or anything. And for that I know she sees that I respect her and I respect the animals.
In fact, after teaching her about Bredlis she said I can get whatever I want "just not one of the huge ones". Hahahahaha. So I think it's safe to say her fear has turned into an appreciation and respect for snakes. Which I think is awesome.
I can't imagine she'll ever want her own snake, or that she'd miss any of them, besides Cosmo of course, if they weren't here. But considering she was once scared to death of a baby BP she's come a long way.

Snakes or not, she's a keeper, but it's definitely an awesome little cherry on top that she's cool with them now!
