    The animal on the right here was a similar looking hatchling colorwise. He's a lot bigger now but looks the same - was maybe 2 years old in this picture. As they mature the hypo gene should lighten up that background color a fair bit and some red tends to bleed into the middle saddles, giving them a purple cast.
