Seriously, thank you! It's my first time owning a snake and I think I'm overthinking it a lot! I will mist daily and see how it goes. I've been reading so much that it's kind of turned my brain to mush, some people are saying mist to 80% and let it settle throughout the day, others are saying if the water bowl is close then don't bother. It's a minefield!

I just know that I’ve had snakes for years and they’re all lovely and healthy .. and the daily spray works .

The key time is mid way through the shedding process when the eyes go clear and they get their colour back .. then I up the spraying to a few times daily for the next few days and they shed perfectly every time

There’s clearly no harm in having an accurate hygrometer in with your snake .. but I tried so many cheap and mid priced ones and the readings were all over the place so I didn’t trust them anyways ..
