The snake doesn't care... Trust me.. I tried to do multiple aquariums at first and it only led to humidity issues, temperature issues and security issues with the snake. For example I have a beautiful, crystal spider male and I did everything I could to get his a** is a tank and he wouldn't eat, handled poorly and was constantly stressed out.. Moved him to a rack that had the same floor space and boom.. Ate 4 days later and hasn't stopped.. Remember.. It's what's best for the animal not you..
I'm not against racks. And if I got a Ball that wanted a tub, with the new shelving I wouldnt mind putting them in a tub. I just really like watching my snakes and their behaviors, I find it fascinating. And to learn their quirks is adorable to me. Loki, my first ball, will occasionally only eat if I put a black towel over his tank. I'm willing to accommodate whatever the animal needs. Humidity has never been a problem as I live in FL. I keep their waters full and mist their tanks during shed just in case.
