Congrats, I got my first home pretty much a year ago (September 21st, 2018). It's been awesome, Crowley my only snake got his own room to roam around in and I finally have the space for my blue and gold macaw which happened just in time because it was my mom's bird but she can no longer care for him. Having a parrot and renting an apartment just doesn't work. I am so happy for you, I know how stressful house shopping can be and when it's finally all done and you're moved in, it makes it all worth it.
