That's interesting as my retic was 2.5 years old when he bit me for the 2nd time. He was very young when he got me the first time.

He made it to the bone on the knuckles for bite 2.

There was a fair amount of bruising for such a quick bite and release.

I've been bitten by my boa, and my carpet. My son's royal has been well mannered since day 1.

Unfortunately my SD x dwarf grew a lot more between 2.5 and 3 years. He's not huge 8.5 to 9 feet, however after 3 years his attitude has soured.

I can never reach in to grab him even after an initial tap. He faces off frequently so I have to make him go the opposite direction before I get him out.

I agree it is nice to get a bite or 2 out of the way, but with that said, just remember if these guys latch on and mean business, things can get ugly.

I would have some serious concerns if mine ever bit and wrapped.

It appears you have a good sized collection and have done well avoiding the mouth end of all of them sans the last retic.

I hope that is the last bite you have to deal with!

    Welcome to the club.
