    The short kayak is not going to track great but I love mine.
    The one in the photo, I have had it in every type of water you can imagine.
    Its like learning to ride a bike, one you get comfortable with it push yourself more.
    Also you can get small hand operated bilge pumps too just incase. Mine is velcroed in the front area inside. Before you go spending too much make sure you like it though.
