Wow 3-4 weeks? I always thought the most you should leave it was 2 weeks, interesting! And at what age do you start feeding every 4 weeks? Thank you

I don't normally suggest 3-4 weeks, I'm only suggesting 3-4 weeks because mediums are likely more rat than she needs. She'll need time to digest and have a rest period before her next meal. I normally feed 2-3 weeks for adults, but that's on a proper-sized meal. The bigger the meal, the more time it needs to be digested (and certain types of prey items also have different periods of digestion). My bp is much smaller, but he only ate once every 2 months on mediums. Not by my choice, though. lol

I could maybe see feeding the occasional medium rat if you were wanting to breed, considering her size, but I wouldn't offer one more often than every third meal, and space the next small rat out accordingly when you do.
