I'm throwing this out there, not as a dig on OP, but as a learning experience...
This is yet another great example of why we should AVOID BUYING ANIMALS FROM BIG BOX PET STORES.
I put that in CAPS, not to sound like I'm telling, but to stress the importance of the statement.
So as a public service announcement, PLEASE STOP SUPPORTING BIG BOX PET STORES people. Until they put the animals ahead of dollars (which will NEVER happen) please stop putting dollars in their pockets and allowing them to profit off of their negligence.
OP, I'm sorry your experiences are going the way they are. Please take this as a learning experience.
Honestly, if it were me, I'd be bringing the snake back and demanding a full refund. If they gave me any resistance I'd simply state that my experiences will be out all over social media. They gladly refund the money rather than deal with the public negativity.
...then use your money to buy from a reputable breeder.
