Gotta pay the "middle-man".Brick & mortar stores cost a lot to run (utilities, rent, employees, insurance)...so even though an expo charges a fee for a table to sell
from, it can't be anywhere near what a store costs to operate. And you don't have nicely set-up cages like that without more employees than most pet stores have either.
But seeing as they're doing right by the animals (apparently) it's also reason to support them if you can.
