    Oh, OK...it's not that there's an issue with your substrate long-term...I think what she's saying is that while your snake is being treated & until he gets well, he needs to
    be on paper or carpet...that makes perfect sense. You can always call the vet's office if you need clarification, but by all means, listen to your vet.
