Ball python keeps trying to get out.
My ball python is around 6 months old now. Here the last couple days all he tries to do is get out of the tank. Nothing has changed inside or out. The humidity is the same heat is the same. I have a background on the tank as well. I have no idea why he continues to try to get out. Any advice would be appreciated

Re: Ball python keeps trying to get out.
Hi,
How long has he been in the enclosure?
Have you moved its location recently?
What weight and sex is your snake - I know you said "he" but is that confirmed?
Could he simply be hungry?
What hides does he have at the moment? I.e. could it be that he doesn't find them tight enough to feel secure?
Has anything at all changed in the enclosure?
Am I asking more questions than a normal post contains? Sorry.

Re: Ball python keeps trying to get out.
He has been in the enclosure for about 4 months now and it has always been right where it’s at. He’s a male and idk his weight. I have 2 different hids that he always stayed in until here recently and I haven’t changed anything in the tank.

I second all of dr del's questions.
Also, what are your temps? You say they're not changed, but in the past we've had people say things like "my temps are perfect" but it turned out they were off.
Also, how are you heating the enclosure?
Are your heat sources regulated by a thermostat?
How are you measuring temps?
The more you tell us the better we can help you.

Re: Ball python keeps trying to get out.
An extra question just to rule things out.
Have you changed anything in the room recently? I'm thinking new animals, painting, anything chemical?

No I have literally changed nothing. The room is the same as it’s always been. My temp runs the same as it always does.

Hunger?!? How big is your snake & what are you feeding him? how often?
