    Definitely the ball python for me. I was pretty neutral/wary about snakes before discovering this species, but ball pythons were love at first sight. This was the species that led me to research snakes in depth and learn to love them, and the one that brought me into the world of snake keeping. I really admire a lot of other snake species but this is the only one I can see myself keeping in the foreseeable future. They're just the right size and shape, docile, and they have that irresistible, sweet face. Plus, they come in so many beautiful patterns and colours—BP morphs are my favourite out of all the snake species I know about.
