What plants are snake safe??

I have 2 ball pythons one of which off in a bioactive setup. I keep a lot of houseplants and after some quarantine some go to my snakes cage (mostly phidendron, pothos, and button ferns). I have a few plants that i would love to add but I can't find anywhere that says they're safe. The two I mostly would like to add are a kimberly queen fern and a false Arabia. Can anybody help??

Pothos and they are also very hardy and will reroot themselves if broken or crushed and with a heavily body snake that will be your main issue.

With snakes, you don't usually have to worry about ingestion, so things that are typically bad for herbavores aren't taboo here; pothos is a good example of this, since it's known to be toxic, but poses little threat to a snake.

Plants to look out for are ones that, when broken, can exude toxic liquids or cause harm upon touching them. "Dumb cane" or deiffenbachia are among those that can be dangerous if broken, as they produce a nasty sap that causes pain if ingested or gotten into wounds/eyes/mouth. Among the latter would be cactuses ir plants with spines. If the plants you're choosing have anything like that, best to avoid.

Ferns are generally considered alright. They are fairly hardy to trampling, though their humidity requirements can make them difficult to keep growing. They also get pretty large and ourgrow most smaller vivarium setups, so that's something to consider.

I'm assuming you meant the false aralia plant, which from a Google search appears to be an evergreen tree that grows fairly tall (7-10 feet indoors) as well. It appears to be non-toxic to mammals, so should be okay, but again, you may need to remove it sooner than later as it will outgrow the viv.

IMO Asplenium nidus (I think the common name in english is nest fern, but not 100% sure) is a really, really good plant for snake enclosures. Before I got one of those my ball python had managed to kill every. single. plant. I put in his terrarium... even sturdy plants like bromeliads! But the Asplenium nidus is doing really well, it has grown quite a bit, even though my little steamroller of a snake sure isn't gentle with it. 10/10, would recommend.
