While I agree that in general, young BPs will probably favor smaller tubs, I do want to chime in that I started both of mine (acquired at 2 months old and 4 months old) in 32qt tubs with similar dimensions to what you listed, and they have done very well, adjusted quickly and had no major disruptions to feeding schedule. The tubs are moderately cluttered once you've placed two hides, a water dish, two fake plants, and an Acurite tucked into one corner. Not necessarily saying I'd recommend it for everyone, just that it is doable.

I live in a warm climate, and myself prefer indoor temps more on the warm side, so my ambient temp rarely needs any help to stay sufficient, and I only use UTHs for the hotspot heat source. I have a Herpstat 2 regulating the UTHs for my two BP tubs; temperatures stay very stable and consistent.
