That's what it often means to rescue & adopt unwanted snakes (or other animals)...there are usually issues & they are best handled by experienced keepers, or those
seriously interested in taking on the responsibility & learning along the way. It's definitely not for everyone. Or as they say, "It's a dirty job but somebody's gotta
do it".
