New ball python blood on paper towel

Hey again... Second post in 24 hours lol, well basically I'm planning on breeding either this year or next year and I purchased an adult female lesser under a week ago so today I went to check her tub to make sure everything's fine and I find blood in her tub. She didn't have a pee or poo or anything like that was just blood. I got her out and checked her over and she seems fine, only thing I could see is that she only had 1 spur which was quite long and I couldn't see the other spur. I checked the enclosure to see if I could find the spur but couldn't find it... What might that be?

Yeah, when I first got her under a week ago I covered the enclosure in mite spray and checked for mites but as far as I could tell she hasn't got any although she's quite dark

Only other thing I could think of is maybe scenting as she wasn't bred this year, but she was bred last year???

I honestly don’t know I’m surprised nobody else has chimed in to help you out. I haven’t bred yet as I’m busy with grad school. Once I get a decent job I kinda want to get into it for fun. Hopefully you’re able to figure out what’s going on.

Presume it’s not just some blood from a mouse / rat after feeding ??

Last thought ... could be a little nick/cut on the side of the snake ??
Maybe just check the snake carefully and/or check the viv /tub for any sharp edges or corners ..

I don't think so, that looks like a bit of blood in a bit of mucus to me, which likely came from (inside) the snake's cloaca, IMO.
As Deborah alluded to in above post, if she shed recently, sometimes that will cause this. But not always, OP is right to be concerned

Nope she didn't. I just opened her tub this morning as well and she had some type of mucus in the side of the tub. Only a little bit but I've checked her mouth and I've checked her breathing to see if I can hear any RI symptoms but there's nothing... I'm just worried now as I've found blood the first time and mucus the second time inside the tub...

I would consider getting her tested for parasites. Especially since you said she's a new acquisition?
There's a few that can cause mucus like stool and intestinal inflammation.
