He seems to be wheezing a lot less now but I'll give his neck a feel when I get home - luckily I've been working with him a ton and he is completely fine with me interacting with his head (I made sure to get him used to this before he becomes a big noodle).

From the calculations I've done he's about 6 months old now but it seems like he was maybe fed less often than recommended to keep his size in check while on sale. In the 6 weeks I've had him he has absolutely sky rocketed in length (but then again I have him on the same feed schedule as my female breeder ball pythons - meaning he is a very happy chappy.)

I'll post a response here if anything else develops from this.
