    Seriously, try it with sweet corn! Cook the kale halfway (about 3+ min in M/W), then add some frozen corn & cook another 3+ minutes, drain & a bit of butter.
    It's pretty (yellow & deep green) & the sweet corn balances the kale. This is different than mixing with other greens, where it dominates.
